IODP/ICDP colloquium - Geo-Show "Unterirdisch"
The Geo-Show “Unterirdisch” (Underground) was originally planned to take place in conjunction with the colloquium. However, for logistical reasons, "Unterirdisch" will take place on 17th September, separately from the colloquium at the URANIA Berlin.
Middle and high school classes are the main target group of the Geo-Show "Unterirdisch" at the Urania Berlin. With the active participation of the pupils, it is about how the varied geological past of our planet can be reconstructed from drill cores and rock samples in a generally understandable and vivid way - and how this research helps to take a look into the future in order to counter the consequences of climate change.
