Geo.X Laboratory Infrastructure Search

Welcome to the laboratory infrastructure portal: LI@Geo.X!

LI@Geo.X (LI = Laboratory Infrastructure) is a search portal that enables scientists and all other interested visitors to find relevant information about the laboratory infrastructures of all Geo.X partner institutions.

Geo.X operates LI@Geo.X as a cooperation project: Our search portal compiles the laboratory infrastructure of all partners in consistent systematics and quality. Please note the individual terms of use for each laboratory. If you are interested in access please contact the responsible lab manager.

IASS and PIK do not operate laboratory infrastructures. As part of the planned expansion of the search portal, we will integrate mobile devices, observatories, and computing capacities.

Keep LI@Geo.X up-to-date

Our portal is still under development, and we are continually adding new entries to the database. Although we make every effort to ensure that the information on the network's laboratory infrastructure is accurate and up-to-date, we cannot guarantee that the database is free of inaccurate or outdated entries.

Therefore, we need your support:

If you wish to add your laboratory to LI@Geo.X or your entries need corrections, please send an email to clearinghouse@geo-x.net.

Search functions

LI@GFZ offers the following search functions:

→ Search
This function includes a keyword search or fulltext search which searches all fields in the data base.
The full text search may be refined by the use of search operators:
To search for two or more keywords separate them by space. Only entries containing these keywords are displayed.
" " The exact phrase is searched.
* Append asterisk to match different word ending, e.g. stereo*.
- Use prefix minus to exclude words from a query, e.g. stereo* -petrel.
→ Advanced search
′Advanced search′ allows to filter database entries by institution, analytical method, instrumentation, and discipline. Additionally, full text search is possible

Results are ranked in alphabetical order.
