“Geo meets Soc Sci: Berlin-Brandenburg in 2045” by Geo.X

Dear colleagues,

Calling all early career researchers (and other interested persons)!

Join us for an exciting scientific immersion at the intersection of geoscience and social science to explore and discuss future perspectives of Berlin-Brandenburg in 2045.

Under the overarching theme of the Energy transformation, we explore this intersection starting with a tandem lecture (one topic, two speakers from different disciplines) on “Energy transformation - past, present and future in Berlin-Brandenburg” by Prof. Dr. Timothy Moss (IRI THESys, HU Berlin) and Prof. Dr. Magdalena Scheck-Wenderoth (GFZ, RWTH Aachen), followed by round table discussions to allow for in-depth exploration of different topics and finally a Get-together for networking opportunities. This is a great opportunity for early career researchers from various fields to gain valuable insights and connect with like-minded individuals across disciplines.

This Geo.Society-Day (together with the ERU CliWaC) will take place on March 2nd, 2023 between 1-5 pm at the FU Berlin, Arnimallee 22, 14195 Berlin.

Don't miss out on this opportunity and register here today (Registration deadline 13.02.2023). The Geo.Society-Day is free of charge. We look forward to seeing you there!

Your Geo.X Team
