Curious about science communication? Love audio formats? Then the Geo.X Podcast Incubator is for you!

This hands-on seminar is designed for early-career scientists who want to explore podcasting as a tool for science outreach and storytelling. Whether it’s interviews, reports, educational content, or casual chats at the lab’s coffee table—you can become a science broadcaster and share your research. But turning an idea into a podcast requires more than just hitting “record.”
This seminar provides you with the necessary tool box you need to get started: A strong theoretical foundation, a lot of hands-on experience and constructive feedback throughout the process. We will cover a deep introduction in the essentials of podcasting: from concept to publication, guidance on storytelling, interviewing, and editorial structure, an introduction to technical tools and hardware and a practical production toolkit & follow-up guide for continuing your podcast journey. By the end of the seminar, you'll produce your own 3-minute podcast episode.
