November 13, 2019 - 7th GIS Day on Telegrafenberg Potsdam - First Call for Contributions
GIS Day is a global event that has been celebrated anually since 1999. The Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research PIK and the German Research Center for Geosciences GFZ cordially invite you to participate in this year's event on Telegrafenberg.
The event focusses on presentations that showcase current GIS projects and new applications. Users and developers are giving insights into their work and allow us to experience the opportunities of GIS and the issues of the GIS community in 2019.
Everyone working with GIS as a scientist, technician, student or trainee is invited to participate with own contributions. Everyone interested is invited to join. Short presentations (about 15 min), lightning talks (about 2-3 min), workshops and poster sessions are planned on the various GIS application scenarios. Multimedia presentations (animations/ videos) are possible. Contributions in German or English will be accepted.
Please complete your registration with or without own contributions by filling the registration form.
