we invite you to join us for the Geo.X "Grow Your Idea" workshop: Microplastics in Environmental and Life Sciences.

Summary
Microplastics are found throughout terrestrial and aquatic environments and may affect organisms, ecosystems and human health. This makes them an increasingly important topic also for the life sciences, and one that calls for close collaboration across disciplines.
We warmly invite researchers from the Berlin-Potsdam region working in the life sciences, environmental sciences, engineering and related fields to join our workshop on 4 December 2026, from 09:30 to 15:30, at top of the Wissenschaftsetage in the Bildungsforum Potsdam, close to the city center and train station. The workshop is an open, interdisciplinary forum for exchanging expertise and methods, discussing current challenges and identifying emerging research directions. Our aim is to discuss and develop joint research ideas that could serve as a basis for future collaborative projects and funding applications.
Participation and catering is free of charge, as supported by Geo.X.
