Organized by the IRI THESys, Humboldt Universität´s KOSMOS Summer University 2014 FutureLand – Competition for Land will focus on global changes that are increasing and diversifying land use pressures.

Meeting the demands of food, fibre, feed and fuel production within limited planetary boundaries and under conditions of a growing population and rapid environmental change presents one of the major challenges to sciences, politics and societies at the beginning of the 21^st century.
