We are delighted to invite you to the 20th Hydrological Modelling Workshop (HYDMOD 2025) organized by the German Hydrological Society (DHG) and hosted by the GFZ Helmholtz Centre for Geosciences in Potsdam. The workshop will take place from 21 to 23 July 2025 on the Telegrafenberg, Building H, bringing together early-career scientists to connect and explore new perspectives.
Workshop Summary:
Aligned with this year’s theme “Water without Borders: Exploring the Links between Hydrology and Hydrogeology” - we aim to bridge the gap between these two fields by addressing pressing challenges such as climate change, socio-hydrology, and pollution. The workshop will feature keynote talks by experts, interactive discussions, poster sessions, and an excursion to Berlin. Beyond the scientific exchange, we emphasize networking and career development, with insights from the GFZ Career Center and personal career journeys shared by our keynote speakers.
Participants are kindly requested to present their research in poster sessions to promote lively discussions and the exchange of new ideas. The workshop is designed to be interactive, with ample opportunities for collaboration and networking during group work, shared meals, and informal gatherings.
