The GFZ internal regulations state that GFZ employees who wish to attend a conference organised by the GFZ do NOT pay their participation fee online.

If you want to attend the meeting you have to register for EMPG-XVII as a GFZ employee by doing the following:

Please announce your participation in the conference (name, section and budget cost centre) per e-mail to: empg2020@gfz-potsdam.de

After this notification by email you will receive a voucher code from us. With this voucher code you need to register on the EMPG XVII website http://www.17empg2020.de/registration.html  (standard or student fee). During the registration procedure you have to confirm the input of the voucher code with a click on the field „Redeem“. Please also have the budget cost centre ready for the online registration.

Download and print out the invoice for your conference fee from the EMPG-website and send it to Beate Hein. Please, do not transfer the registration fee by yourself!

Accompanying persons, who want to join the icebreaker party (20 €) and/or the dinner (70 €) have to be registered also via email to empg2020@gfz-potsdam.de - not on the conference website! The invoice amounts for the accompanying persons can be paid in cash at Mrs Beate Hein against a receipt (latest until 1st of June, 2020).
