Who can participate?

• Students, lecturers and scientists from the age of 21 in the study areas of natural science, informatics, engineering, medicine and psychology including specialist science teachers with a science degree

• People who work in applied science, engineering technology or mathematics in industry or business (e.g. patent clerks, statisticians, consultants to industry)

The topics can be chosen freely as long as they deal with a scientific question. Stage props are allowed, PowerPoint presentations etc. are banned. The judging panel, consisting of professors, science journalists and communication professionals, evaluate the plausibility, coherence and originality of the presentations.
The presentation can be either in German or English.
