Summer School 2012

 24 - 28 September 2012
 Potsdam, Germany

The Geo.X Summer School 2012 provides a common platform for three individual research fields, complemented by an overarching programme for all participants. We invite young scientists to participate in our interdisciplinary and collaborative scientific research by joining the Summer School.

Individual Summer Schools

Monday to Wednesday

The projects GeoEn, PlanetarySciences and PROGRESS will present in-depth, state-of-the-art scientific knowledge in their respective research fields during three-day compact courses.

Joint Programme

Thursday to Friday

The Geo.X-partner institutions will provide tours to their scientific research facilities. Hands-on laboratory tutorials (SIMSlaboratory and 3D Lab) and special lectures on topics such as methods of terrestrial/extraterrestrial age dating as well as methods and applications of remote sensing will complement the Summer School experience.
