Geo.X-Spring School 2014 - Methods in Geosciences

The Geo.X Spring School 2014 “Methods in Geosciences” is open to all young scientists who are looking for new methodological knowledge and skills. We invite participants from the earth sciences to attend courses from a broad range of geoscientific research  methods. Each course will be oriented towards integrating theory and practical applications. The language of instruction is English.

Topics include climate modeling, process modeling, microanalysis, 3D model visualization, systematics of cosmogenic nuclides, and time series analysis.  Click herefor the detailed Spring School program.

The Geo.X Spring School runs for four days in Berlin and Potsdam from  March 31 to April 3, 2014. Its program is organized modularly with parallel and consecutive courses. 

The Geo.X Spring School will start with a joint welcome event on Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin.

Fee:

20 € for Graduate and PhD Students
30 € for PostDocs

including hand-out material, beverages, lunch, 7-days ticket for public transportation in the Berlin/Brandenburg area, and Spring School dinner. Participants cover lodging and travel expenses on their own.
